HI, I’M KRISTIN!
It’s great to meet you!
I am a dedicated advocate for students and teachers across the state because I know the importance and value of a strong education system. I aim to ensure my children and all of Nebraska’s children have access to a high quality education. I have spent my career as a special education and academic intervention teacher, which gives me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students and families. Each student is unique and adds value to the classroom!
While I’m originally from northeastern Nebraska, I have lived in Lincoln for over a decade. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and am currently working on completing my Master’s. I was honored to be selected as an undergraduate research assistant, which helped me develop and deepen my understanding of the importance of using effective, research based strategies and interventions with students. I carry that learning with me into my instruction in the classroom.
My husband and I have three kids. We spend our free time playing soccer and baseball, swimming, exploring parks across the city, reading books, and building the tallest magnetic tile towers.
